This project will involve migrating an existing online store to a PHP/MySQL server running one of the following ecommerce platforms: OpenCart, PrestaShop, Magento. The choice of platform will depend on which can most easily accomplish our current needs for the lowest cost. The store currently contains roughly 3000 products, most of them virtual (either audio or PDFs), or books shipped. The following special features will need to be considered by the bidding developers: 1- A "fancy" rotating "Featured products" showcase on home page 2- A customized design, with 6 different page layouts type (category listing), and 2 menus. Some leniency on layout/design will be available. 3- PDF watermarking and password protection module. All purchased PDFs need to be watermarked automatically after order, and password-protected. An existing script exists, it can be repurposed to work with new shopping cart solution. 4- Audio module. All audio files need to have a "preview" mode, where the visitor can play a clip that is uploaded by the admin. 5- Custom pages that the admin can enter their own HTML in 6- Bilingual site English / French 7- Multicurrency site (2 currencies) 8- Products will need to be imported into new platform (either manually or through a combination of automated scripts and manual imports) 9- Paypal Payments Pro payment processor 10- Shipping fees calculated through standard region/weight rules You will be working with a project manager & senior developer who will handle client communications and who can provide some support as well.
