I have a Joomla Database (MySQL) that it using K2. K2 converts the images into a unique file name (MD5 using the item ID) in a folder called K2/Cache and does not store reference to them in the database.
I need the file names to be the same as the Item Name. Therefore I need a small script I can run on the server that will decrypt the MD5 turn it back into the item ID, then convert the item id in the image file name to an nice user friendly filename (such as, Fresh_Brown_Bread_XL.jpg.
Whilst converting the MD5 filename back to the item ID may be difficult, I suggest it would be easier to acquire the Item ID, create this as an MD5 value and then reference the filename in the folder.
I then also need the database to add 5 columns to the products table which will directly reference, and point to the folder loacation of the different sizes of image files (there are 5 I think).
It's probably took me longer to write this than create the script. It needs to run on WHM/Apache
Looking forward to viewing your bids.
Hello!
Your budget is very low. I will tell you why.
I looked over source code by K2. There is a lot of places and logics where md5() used for determine image name on disk. This way if we want to accomplish your result, we need to change all places with "User friendly name" function, also about 5 rows in DB - it is not needed. All can be left in this way, or directory for images can be changed.
If you just rename images - it is possible, but it is not give you any result. K2 will still use md5 strings.
