I have worked on the various projects with Ajax,php and mysql too. As far as the idea of the project is concerned I have well understood the matter. First the user would be typing the email id and the Ajax would check backside that the contain is there in database in accordance with php script. This is I got from your project.

I actually just finished up some work for another Australian client - you can see this on my portfolio. The registration form is no problem, however I am unsure of your requirements for the confirmation email. Would this email need to contain a code / link which needs to be used to confirm the registration? Or is it simply an email confirming that the registration was successful? The registration form will of course validate that the email address is a valid email address and that it doesn't already exist, and will also validate the password. Errors will be shown and the fields with errors can be highlighted. I can also integrate the Facebook login option for you, I believe we can capture their personal data - name/email - through this as well. As with the registration form the login page will validate data and highlight any errors. I can make this redirect to a page upon successful login, and the fact that the user is logged in will be recorded in the session. I will include 'forgotten password' functionality on the login page.
