Magento 1.7.0.2 Paypal refunf generate a credit memo. - open to bidding

Hi there, I have a problem with Magento 1.7.0.2 When I partially refund a order that was payed with paypal, it generates me a credit memo with the actual product that I refunded and everything seems good. Since it's an offline refund I then go and login to my paypal account to issue a partial refund to the guy that placed the order. As soon as I partially refund, paypal send the IPN to my magento and it generates a new Credit memo of all the order..... Can you please help me out.
