RSA ENCRYPTION AND DECRYPTION

I am having trouble with the encryption and decryption function in this project. This is regarding the RSA algorithm using JAVA ONLY. I have been able thus far to complete everything, but I am struggling on creating a modular power algorithm. Our teacher here at my high school gave us strict guidelines. this is what I am having trouble interpreting and completing... he wrote... modular power is the form of math to encrypt and decrypt. We have only been allowed to use BigInteger methods in this project, and no other methods and were limited on these... Anyways, here is some pseudo-code that was given to us and we have to rewrite it in java. When we run this program this is the method that will encrypt and decrypt a user entered string! it looks like this... modularpower(a,b,c) //a is the base //b is the exponent //c is the divisor for the mod division d = 1 for i = (the number of bits in b) to 0 step -1) d = d * d d = d mod c if(the bit in b at the position i = 1) d = d * a d = d mod c return d I have to write this method in JAVA, but I am confused, how do I do that? I have values for D,E, m, n, (p and q) are my 512 bit randomly generated prime numbers! Do I need my values from those variables, or how do I write this darn thing in Java?
