Hi,
I have a small utility software that I need to automate the testing for. So I? need someone to make an AutoIt script. I? have done? the script myself, but it is sensitive for screen resolution and mouse movement so I would like to start? from scratch. ?
The script should do the following:
1. IF scripts first time to run THEN
? ? ? ? 1.1? Let [login to view URL] save computer details to a text file.?
? ? ? ? 1.2? Open Utility GUI and make basic? settings.?
? ? ? ? 1.3 Add? autoscript into? RUN in Registry (so it start upon reboot).
? ? ? ? 1.4 Save an entry into Log File 1.?
? ? ? ? 1.5 Save an entry into Log File 2.?
2.? Perform a task in GUI by select one button, select OK then wait? X sec.?
3. Select item in listview and then select another button.?
4. Save entry into Log File 1.?
?
5. Do step 2 to step 4, X number of times.
6. Add Y number of items into a listview in GUI, by selecting button in GUI and then enter text into text box and press OK.
7. Do step 2 again and save entry into Log File 1 and another Log File into 2.?
8. Log result of directory search for X text files with certain paths and names.
10. Save X text files with certain paths and names.? ?
11. Log result of directory search for X text files with certain paths and names.
12. Copy X files with certain parths and names.?
13. Log result of directory search for X text files with certain paths and names.
14. Delete X files with certain parths and names.
15.? Run the installation of a number of? setup of software:
15.1 Acrobat Reader
15.2 McAfee Antivirus
15.3 MS Office
15.4 - 15.10 Other suitable software.
Save entry into Log File 1.
16. Open a webpage (i.e. just execute a software in run, explorer <[login to view URL]>).
17. Reboot computer (i.e. just execute a software in run, shutdown -r).
That is it... It is important that the script is not sensitive for screen resolution or if you happen to move the cursor by misstake during the running of the script... It is also important that the script logs what is being done.
