SQL Server Database Developer (ETL/ELT)

In this role you will develop a high-performance ETL solution using SQL server SSIS, building an integrated risk management solution.   Goal is to import market & transaction data from a variety of source systems , map to data warehouse, perform risk management calculations, and deliver timely daily reports each morning.   <br /><br />You will be working in an international and fast-paced team, gaining insight into the world of commodities trading. <br /><br /> Responsibilities:<br /><br />Implement a state-of-the-art data integration solution, with focus on its ETL / ELT mapping architecture<br />Facilitate requirements gathering and develop solutions to meet the immediate and long-term needs of business customers.<br />Help with the creation of best practices for data loading and extraction.<br />Help with the migration of existing integration assets to the standard integration platforms<br /><br />Skills<br /><br />Experience in SQL Server – SSIS<br />Strong background in Data Integration, especially ETL/ELT<br />Excellent SQL skills<br />Good communication skills in written and spoken English, to communicate with non-technical business and IT staff at all levels of the company<br />Clear thinking, well organized & thorough<br />Stress-resistant<br />Experience in international teams, working with clients at a distance<br />A demonstrable passion for technology.<br /><br /> Nice to have:<br /><br />Talend<br />Financial markets/commodities/transactions experience<br />Experience in Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
