Hi, My Background: Manager, Designs. Algorithms and Real-time testing expert. My main background is in Algorithms and Real time implementation in Hardware. I've used MATLAB extensively for testing a lot of algorithms in a variety of fields. I've also done real-time implementation in Microcontroller/processer, FPGA. I've co-authored two IEEE papers too. I the field of Image Processing I've done recognition algorithms (like face/iris/palm print etc.), motion detection (run/walk/jump etc, sign language detection), image forgery detection (detection of forged image ec), Quality assessment of images, Image compression and decompression algorithms. These were done using stand alone MATLAB and in some cases the Image Processing tool box. In Telecommunications, i've implemented the entire PHY layer of WiMAX 802.16D in MATLAB (for simulation) and Altera FPGA (realtime). I've also done a lot of DSP algorithms. These algorithms were tested in MATLAB and then implemented using C/C++ in customized hardware. Most of these also had a customized Windows based GUI.
