Market research and analysis of Care & Hospital Bed Market in Japan

This job will be to do market research and analysis of the Care & Hospital Bed Market in Japan that will form part of a market research report for a company that plans to introduce a high-end Care & Hospital bed in the Japanese market. Further information about the bed can be provided once selected. The information that needs to be gathered is included in the attachment. Primary collection method will be on the internet but telephone interviews are encouraged. I plan to interview face-to-face one elderly care manager, one hospital manager and one distributor, along with using a regulatory consultant regarding approval matters, to complement the data that the selected candidate will gather. The report will be written in a different language than English. Since the writer of the report can read English, but not Japanese, any information gathered in Japanese (which it will mostly will be) that should form part of the report will have to be translated into English. The candidate should be able to judge which parts that are of interest and needs to be translated and do the translations from Japanese to English. I can read Japanese and can check the translations before sending to the end client and also advise from time to time on what data that could be interesting to include in the report. The candidate should also be able to analyze the gathered market information and provide conclusions and summaries. There are also sections regarding business model and type of marketing approach in Japan. Essentially the person who writes the report in the end should be able to use all the gather and analyzed material. The candidate should be able to read and speak Japanese, have experience of market analysis and entry strategies into Japan, and be able to translate into English at a pretty high level. It would be preferable to have an understanding of the healthcare market in Japan and be located in Japan. It is not essential but a plus if you can speak English as well. The work will have to start immediately upon award and be completed by June 21. I will be involved to guide and review information that is gathered and analysed, and we will have scheduled Skype calls to discuss it which can be in Japanese if needed.
