Required a Data Scientist for 2 months (full time) at Mumbai (Thane)

We are looking for Data Scientist for 2 months on contract (Full time). Location is Thane- Mumbai. Please find the job description as mentioned below: - Looking for a Data Scientist that will help us in implementing data models for projecting recoveries from distressed / insolvent accounts. - Primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality predictive models & automating the same through suitable tools. - Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner. - Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms. - Experience with common data science & data visualisation tools such as R - Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig {{actual list depends on what you are currently using in your company}} - Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc. - Team player & great communication skills
