We are running a project in that we are getting satellite imagery scanned by AI. We are currently looking for the locations for every "marina" within the world map. The software should also be able to measure the length of every "floating dock" in the related sites. The marinas (and the floating docks) could be easily seen from satellite images. They are located only at the edge of the coastlines, rivers, and lakes. You can find a 4-minute tutorial video, which has manually been done for Belgium at: [login to view URL] . Please also make sure to take a look at the 2-page user-guide PDF file with images, attached to this project. We will use this data for an important purpose. Therefore, we will be satisfied only if the project has been done accurately and completely. The software should do the task within two distinct steps: - Finding the locations of floating "docks". - Measuring the length of every found floating dock. The software should be open-source. It should also be a one-time project: functioning on its own, and completely without depending on a third party server, meaning that we should be able to use it in future without relying on keeping the contact with the developer.
