Set up a VUE.js sample project using Visual Studio 2017

I'm new to Vue and I have a basic Visual Studio project set up. However I'm not sure where to add various elements. Such as I have a main index page that has a navigation menu on the left side that needs to call vue components to place in the app div. When I created the project it put a [login to view URL] file and that I don't think plays nicely with .js code. I would like to zip up my VS 2017 project, send it to you and you put the right pieces in place for it to function. If you want to change the [login to view URL] into a [login to view URL] that is fine and I would prefer than. The project will help me learn how to structure files. Option 2 to this project is for you to create a new structure using VS 2017 and create your own [login to view URL] page that has 4 buttons on it. Click button one and it shows plain text in the app div. Button 2 does the same. Button 3 shows a .vue page and button 4 does the same with a different page. What I need to understand is how does the index page call a function to effect the vue You need to be comfortable with Visual Studio 2017 and Vue.
