I wish to create an iphone application to be the mobile arm of my meetup website (similiar to [login to view URL]). The main website allows users to create meetups in their area.
Features required for the native iphone application (version 3, 4)
1. Allow user to login/ into the service.
2. Post a new Meetup
3. View meetup full detail. Including Map of location.
4. RSVP/un-RSVP for a meetup
5. View/Post comment on a meetup.
6. View list of meetups happening today. Using pull up to reload and pull down to request more listings.
7. View list of meetups happening this week.
8. View list of meetups user has RSVP'ed.
9. Search list of meetups by location.
10. Graphics/design (or I can outsource this to another person if you don't specialise in this area). If graphics isn't doing within budget, then can leave this our for the time being and just use native iphone controls.
11. Data requested, to be cached locally.
12. APIs will be developed in our local team, but will need some feedback from you as to what is best, ie xml, webservice, json etc?
Note all the data update/request will be performed on the server, which will be developed by us. This project is to only develop the iphone application that will request/post info from/to the server. Though, its expected data to be cached locally on the iphone. The API interface has yet to be complete, and will be written specifically for this.
