Our trainers work directly with fast growing funded software companies to build out their new training departments, often from scratch. After crafting custom learning programs and building unique courses, they then educate thousands of students on these hot new products.
This is an ongoing relationship with ad-hoc work as and when demand arises
You will be developing
* Technical curriculums for disruptive technologies, online, elearning, and
facilitated training
* Document steps and procedures for the development and maintenance of course
materials for technical products
Required skills and attributes
YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF CURRICULUM WRITING EXPERIENCE IN TECHNICAL PRODUCTS AS WELL AS...
• Love for delighting and helping customers.
• Passion for new and emerging technology in the IT industry
• Strong technical aptitude You need to be able to learn on the fly! It is super
important that you are able to skill up quickly and become a subject matter expert
on a product / platform in a short period of time
• Basic experience with common software tools. We will provide training on
emerging technologies, but past experience and a strong curiosity for learning on
your own are helpful.
• Flexibility. Our customers are growing and changing rapidly, as are we. You must
be able to navigate change well, and thrive on the fact that no two days will be the
same.
• Excellent writing skills.
Required technical skills
• Basic HTML
• Basic knowledge and experience in using Linux. You must be comfortable using the command line
• Basic knowledge of software development processes/methodologies (i.e. Agile Scrum / Kanban etc...)
Desirable Skills
• Experience with the Atlassian products (Confluence, JIRA, Bamboo)
• Basic knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages
• Java, C++, C#, php, go
• Experience with development and delivery of technical software training courses.
• Development and deployment of simple web applications.
• Experience in using version control systems (Git, Mercurial, SVN etc...)
