Confused that why are trying to build your own where you can get custom module in store. I am assuming you are trying to build a store module for generalize purpose, is it correct? I will describe my DNN experience later but would be better if you will please clear on the below area: - I am assuming there should be a file upload control for the form, right? If yes then do you want that user will choose the DNN File Upload Feature to store uploaded files using the fileID in the DNN Files table? - I can understand that there needs to place action on form submission, is this correct? So, how many option you want to place there? DO you want to give only database submission? or there we can place the script to call ay third party? - IS there will be any dynamic validation in the form? - Redirection? How you want to manage this? Is there will be any option whether admin can set the Success Page and Faliure Page? - Do you want any email form submission option? - Dynamic Payment gateway form submission option? - Is there will be any abilities where Host Users will be able to import from module instances across multiple portals? There is so many things need to clear before move forward. When you can make some time so that we can discuss in details. If you want to use this module for your application then I do not think there is so many complexities. Because we will have a concrete requirement to start the module.
