Web design - customer journey, experience and conversion

Our project is an online transaction system that provides an ordering and payment process & progressing service. The solution has been functionally assembled (in PHP) with crude looks. The look - customer experience and usability are a critical to the projects success. The solution has to work exceptionally well across desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile. We would expect customers to rave about how easy it was! The solution is presentable in different languages this shouldn't affect design. there are 3 aspects to our project: Design CSS assembly CSS integration into existing PHP This job is for the design. Design The total solution has a number of customer facing pages but in reality there are only 3 different variations. There are then a number of admin facing pages which whilst they dont need to be as stunning to look at as the customer ones, nevertheless have to work very well. The design brief is visually produce 6 solutions for the 3 distinct page types that work as a collection, are reflective of brand and style and are amazingly straightforward to understand and use across all devices. The solution should incorporate the most modern user experience concepts - responsive design, hidden/expanded sections, very clear calls to action and obvious "next" steps. There will also need to be an html email template - these communications contain simple process messaging and provide links to things like [modify your profile] [amend booking]. No aspect of the existing content should be interpreted as a design pre-requisite. Sizes, colours, order, buttons, links, check boxes are all up for design optimisation. The solution needs to be deliverable across all devices using all standard browser technologies, and deployable using modern CSS approaches. Timing We would expect to award this work by 09:30 26-07-2015 BST. We would expect to receive at least 2 different design options by 09:30 29-07-2015 BST. After some exchange of thoughts we would expect to confirm a design by 17:30 31-07-2015 BST. We would expect to receive completed designs by 09:30 04-08-2015 BST. We will be lining up others to complete the CSS assembly and integration and therefore dates are important. Further information We will provide links to the customer facing pages, sample email and captures of the existing admin content to those who ask for it. Your Response Please no cut and paste waffle! 1 Evidence of Design Capability We will want to see evidence that you have successfully designed the look and feel of web process solutions, e-commerce etc. Please don't stretch things here - this is about process and conversion - if you've not done it, please drop this. You should just provide links to what you have done - that means a link! We dont need to read a story about it! 2 Understanding We want to work with people that are passionate about customer experience and conversion. Prove you do - in any way you like! 3 Timing Acknowledge the timings are realistic for you and that you can work within them. 4 Cost We are looking for value for money, yet we do acknowledge you get what you pay for!
