We require a graphic designer to take over work overflow tasks of stationary projects (mainly business cards, company branded letter heads, branded facsimile templates and envelopes).
Please note, we are offering tailored and customized designs to our clients and take immense pride in our original work. As such we are looking for a graphic designer who designs all their work from scratch according to our clients’ briefs and does not design or utilize any ready-made and mass produced templates or cliparts.
We are looking for:
*************************************************************************
(a) Individual freelancers only. No companies, no teams, no groups.
(b) “Pure” GRAPHIC designers (not web designers, developers/programmers). You must be a graphic designer who takes pride in your original work. As such we’d expect you to know all about typography, whitespace, balance, contrast, dominance, gradation, harmony, rhythm, unity, color interactions, negative space, etc.
(c) Knowledge of past and current trends, graphic design styles, basic printing methods/knowhow to ensure your finished/printed work looks fantastic and branding (to a certain extend).
(d) Perfectionists that are reliable and have a very organized design approach.
(e) You MUST have a high quality, clean and professional style which is reflected in your portfolio.
*************************************************************************
If you fit above requirements, please feel encouraged to apply in confidence. Please ONLY APPLY IF YOU FIT ABOVE REQUIREMENTS. Please supply the following information (number your answers in the same layout as below - please provide this info in a private message):
(1) Quote for one business card concept (logo will be provided by client or billed separately) which should include at least 3x mockups and 3 revisions
(2) Hourly rate or flat rate (for each additional revision beyond the agreed number of revisions)
(3) Hourly rate for other graphic design work
(4) How many years have you been a graphic designer?
(5) Programs used (e.g. Illustrator, Indesign, PS CS5, etc)
(6) Specializations (e.g. Logo design, 3D rendering, photo retouching - please note; this is not important but for reference only; we are looking for a creative GRAPHIC DESIGNER for stationary)
(7) Formal education (if applicable - we are mainly looking at the quality of your work and your creativity not for diplomas)
(8) Current employment status (e.g. self employed freelancer, employed as web designer but taking on freelance projects in spare time, etc)
(9) Your location and time zone
(10) Portfolio exhibit - only provide the very best designs that you designed (your portfolio/link/attachment must include sample designs of business cards and/or letterheads)
Again, we must stress that we are looking for a GRAPHIC DESIGNER with a background and theoretical knowledge in this field. Individuals with an impressive portfolio need to apply/quote only - the rest won't make the cut. We are looking for INDIVIDUALS ONLY, NO TEAMS OR COMPANIES.
Please note, only successful applicants will be contacted.
