Ad building portal We need a website that allows the users to design their own ads for our electronic magazine and pay for them online in one session. The ad design engine The ads are modular ads of the same physical dimensions The user must have 3 simple options: An ad with text only An ad with text and a picture of fixed size and position An ad that only consists of a single image When the appropriate option is chosen, the editor must allow the user to place images and edit text and colors until satisfied. There must also be an option to type a hyperlink to attach to the ad. When the user is finished designing the ad and presses the “Finish” button the system must create a PDF file of the ad (including hyperlink) for final approval by the user. This PDF file will be used directly in our publication. When approved the ad must be booked. In the simple booking system the user choses the issues of the magazine he wants his ad to appear in. A total price is calculated and a payment module opens allowing the user to pay with his creditcard / paypal. When the payment is completed the system send a receipt to the user and the PDF file of the ad with information on hyperlinks, ad categories and issues booked to a dedicated e-mail address of the magazine. Our magazine is published in many different languages so we need a solution that can easily be translated by ourselves for use in different language areas. Through the back end we want to be able to control: Ad categories Ad dimensions List of bookable issues of magazines Ad prices and discounts Email addresses to receive finished and paid adds for publication Language of front end We need a simple and reliable solution that is easy to use
