Facelift for SeventhRayPress.com

This web site has been online for many years without an update in design. It is a minor site, one of 35 sites but with very little traffic. It is, however, "official" meaning there is a publishing company and this is the web site for the tiny company. The site, as you can see, specializes in books on botanical medicine, astrology, and esoteric psychology but is about to add permaculture and plans for transforming agriculture and landscaping to sustainable methods of growing. I would like a new header, 800 px wide, that retains the peacock. It needs some new imagination for navigation and we are about to go to a database to manage the books so the site will be php rather than html as now. The color scheme is more or less correct. I wanted gold, not ochre, and several shades of blue going from the aqua/turquoise to cobalt to bluish-purple. I think this is a very simple project for a talented designer. I need for the site to be clean, elegant, and more modern looking, not techy but not 1990s. ## Deliverables The attachments contain some materials that can be used for the new site. I am sure I can obtain higher res images but these are good for starters. My regular designer is in Europe for a month, but I think I have the logo somewhere on the HD. The peacock was PhotoShopped from a ink drawing done by a friend. I am not sure I have it anywhere but my designer might have it. The image that says Ahimsa was just a communication glitch because my designer got the text mixed up and put the wrong text with that image. I am open to some changes so long as the broader themes are maintained. Bidders must respect my time and energy. Do not send a long list of your accomplishments. Please send a single link to one site you have done which you feel reflects your abilities and is at the level needed for my site. Those who submit mock ups will be given higher priority but do not spend time on this unless you are sure your example of your work passes the first level of approval. I will let those whose sample is interesting know within 12 hours as to whether that sample meets my standard or not.
