I am using the latest version of Tomato Cart, I am trying so setup PayPal payments on my site, I am in South Africa and I have added ZAR to my list of currencies. I know Paypal does not support payments in ZAR so the idea is to convert the purchase amount to USD before passing the values to PayPal. Currently when the order amounts to R300 then the amount of $300 is passed to PayPal. All PayPal supported currencies works fine but unsupported currencies gets passed through as USD without converting the values. I believe that in order to achieve this, a modification to the file /includes/modules/payment/[login to view URL] is required.
