creating searchable database

We'd like to have a database created which, on the front end, can be populated through drop down menu options as well as free form entry e.g. first name and last name. This database must also be searchable by name, gender, company and other criteria. It must also have the ability to import data from existing excel worksheets. Calendar functionality which allows date of birth information to be sent to Google calendar or Outlook calendar is also required.
