We have always used software that talks to quickbooks through the expenses accounts but our new software talks through the items so we need to clone some of our expenses to the items and then link them back to the expense. Looks like the best way to do this is through an iff file or excel file but its a bit above me what i am missing. I have an excel doc built with the info but need someone with a bit more knowledge to get it to the point where quickbooks accepts it and maps it properly.
