Project consists of two tasks Task 1. Copy a table from financial statements to an Excel spreadsheet. There are 495 documents in file docs_task_1.zip. Each file contains the financial statements of an organization. Task requires to copy one table: the "consolidated operations" statement. This statement summarizes the revenue and expenses for several years. Each sheet in the Excel spreadsheet should have the name of the file. That is, the final Excel spreadsheet will have around 495 sheets. I attached a copy of one of the documents (see file [login to view URL]) and a rough idea of the expected outcome ([login to view URL]). In this sample, the table to be digitized is the one in page 5. Note that some documents are in French. These are to be skipped. Task 2. Copy a table with information on salaries from a document to an Excel spreadsheet. There are 495 documents in file docs_task_2.zip. Each file contains a table with the schedule of salaries, honoraria and travel paid to elected officials of an organization. Task requires to copy this table to an Excel spreadsheet Each sheet in the Excel spreadsheet should have the name of the file. I attached a copy of one of the documents (see file [login to view URL]) and a rough idea of the expected outcome ([login to view URL]). In this sample, the table to be digitized is the only one in the document. Note that some documents are in French. These are to be skipped. I will provide to ZIP files at the beginning of the assignment.
