Windows Vista/7 screen capture using DWM/DXGI hooking

I have a couple of questions: Do you need entire desktop to be captured or you also need separate (DirectX) windows/games to be captured in fullscreen and non-fullscreen mode? Have you tried GDI or DirectX/OpenGL front buffer reading methods to see how much FPS you can achieve? I can send you a demo for testing the FPS first via DirectX/OpenGL front buffer reading. The proposed bid covers only DirectX/OpenGL front buffer reading method. If the target FPS cannot be achieved, then I'd suggest a DWM process DirectX 10 hook to read back the desktop contents. DWM DirectX hook will be more expensive of course. It will cost $3600 without the dirty rectangles. This will be the closest to Desktop Duplication in Windows 8 and 10. However, adding dirty rectangles will cost extra. Let me know if you are interested. Ivo

Hello there, I have extensive experience with C++ on Windows, DirectX and the Win32 API. Screen capture of desktop is already well documented and can be done using many methods; using the correct DirectX fi8lters, it should be possible to capture your desired 60 FPS, and store them as a series of JPG images or one MPG4 or other movie format. Hello, There is a easier way to capture the screen at monitor refresh rates on windows 7 or vista. Just now, I have created a prototype in c++ that captures windows desktop in 60frames per second.
