Background
We wish to add functionality of IP Camera in our existing portal. This requires us to develop a software module that allows user to request information from remote IP Cameras and display results on the web.
Project Scope
Scope of work is to:
1) Communication Module: Use the IP Camera SDK sample code (in C++) to develop a software module that will run on a Linux system running on cloud. The module will iteratively connect with IP Cameras in field (using IP Camera SDK) over the internet P2P, fetch requested information from CCTV camera and store into database/ server. Module will fetch the requests from SQL table and perform one of following functions on remote IP Cameras (over internet):
a. Login to an IP Camera
b. Download the playlist
c. Download of the video file
d. Download of alarms
e. Take camera snapshot
The results obtained from the IP Camera will be stored in database table/ Amazon S3 bucket

2) Web UI: A client side UI in AngularJS with 2 pages that allows users to retrieve following information on the portal (basis JSON coded information received from web APIs to be provided by us)
a. Page 1:
i. CCTV Camera Status (live/ offline)
ii. Display Log/ Alarm information received from camera
iii. Display playlist of camera
iv. Show url of downloaded files and their playout
b. Page 2:
i. Playout of downloaded file with option to store file in local PC (in supported format)
Project Milestones
Project shall have following milestones:
1. Milestone 1: Freelancer checks that the required functions can be achieved using the SDK by checking on Camera
2. Milestone 1: Freelancer Implements the IPC2M as multi-threaded module and tests results with data stored in table + requested pages in AngularJS
3. Milestone 3: Full system functionality testing + performance evaluation using multiple cameras/ users
Project Deliverables:
Following shall be the deliverables for the project:
1) Working Code in Source (with proper coding guidelines followed and commenting)
a. Use of appropriate variable names with description wherever required
b. No embedding of freelancer names/ email/ number etc in code
2) Executable version of the code working on our server
3) Project Documentation
