THIS IS A PROGRAM NEEDED FOR HANDHELD COMPUTER RUNNING PALM OR WINDOWS MOBILE/CE
i have handheld computers running on Win mobile 2003, win ce & palm and I am looking to have a program on the devices which will allow me to import a csv or tab delimited file to be stored on the device with several columns of data.
once imported the screen would show how many records were imported and give a search form with 1 input field that says "ID number" and below that a buttton that says "search" and another button that says "lookup".
If id number is entered and search hit, program looks on list for matching entries (could be more than one) and when find matches it displays the "desscription field" to them on screen with large print "GO" at top and then flags record as "in" and logs the timestamp. If the id is searched again, diplay shows "STOP" and says "Already IN at $timestamp"
if user hits "lookup" then another search form appears with fields to search by name, department, email, and perhpas 3 or 4 other parameters that are in the file. when search submitted, if matches found then displays possible matches full record and either says record is "in" with timestamp or a button is there to "check in" which when submitted flags record as "in" and logs timestamp.
at any point the user should be able to see a report of how many record "in" and how many still open and user needs ability to save/export the csv file for syncing with a desktop.
