Design an Advertisement

Politicians in our state are currently working on a new law that would prevent construction sub-contractors and laborers from being paid on construction jobs. These would be roofers, plumbers, bricklayers, framers, and just about any part of home construction. I need to graphically convey this message in small posters to start with. We have some starting messages below that are a bit long and will need to shorten the text, but it may help to get the idea across. Would like a graphic pictures to go along with the text message. At least 5 of the messages below should be selected for the project. 1. The average construction worker in Florida makes less than $18.00 an hour. Now politicians in Tallahassee want us to work for free. (Picture of an unhappy, dirty from working hard construction worker with the message?) 2. I bought the material with my own money, worked all week without being paid, and I did the work you hired me to do. Now the politicians in Tallahassee won’t let me get paid. 3. 425,000 Construction Workers in Florida work for free until the job is done. Now Tallahassee wants to take away our only chance of getting paid. 4. Tallahassee politicians want their friends to be able to build a house without having to pay us. Tell them no and you have had enough of their special favors. 5. How is telling 425,000 construction workers they can’t get paid considered “looking out for the little guy” 6. So the General Contractor, your friend, can get paid, but you want to take away protection for the workers? 7. Man pulling up to a big house in a fancy car telling the workers, “Hurry up! Oh, and I just passed a law so I don’t have to pay you.
