precondition: 1. First of first, you should have complete source code of the original program. 2. The original have clear function decoupling between front-end and back-end. 3. Some MFC control and UI can not be convert to javascript My suggestion: 1. if the front-end function is not too complex, rewrite it by javascript, now days, HTML5 can give you best User Experience 2. move most function to your back-end, keep it as cpp. I have experience of emscripten in a CS-like web game. And now I have enough time to finish your project. Base on your requirements, the project can be finished in 1~3 months. Please take consideration.
