The project is creating an Android/iPhone app that people can use to find a good quality near by coffee shop. I would describe the app as being something like Urban Spoon but specifically for cafes/coffee shops and with more advanced searching functions. The primary function of the app is to find the best nearby coffee shop based on rating, distance, price using an algorithm. The app will have to use data from google places to obtain the coffee shops. Users will be able to rate the coffee shops. There will also be an associated website.

For the app we will need : 1) A custom web server to pull data of google , foursquare , etc and store in the db on the server app. 2) API's for pulling the data off the server. 3) Mobile app on the user side.
