Build an Online Store

We want to upload and host school photographs that families can view and purchase products from. (this is not an FTP service for customers to upload their own pics) It's important that groups of images are password protected and have the strongest actions to not be able to copy files directly, right clicked or downloaded until purchased. Customers will need to be able to search images via file numbers, see products available and be able to purchase via credit card or paypal. the admin we will need to be able to use high resolution files upload photos via groups, subgroups, or different collections as required. Front END THe user: Customers will need to log in via password protection and email clarification ( this needs to be fleshed out some to ensure we have the best security available but the easiest for users to use) Once they find their event they will need to find images via search option Images will be display along with products and prices available (further discussion for something interaction with the products) Digital files can be purchased and once paid can be downloaded automatically Payment through PayPal or Credit card form. This will include personal details and delivery address (standard form) Backend Admin We need to be able to create events which will include sub-categories, image groups price books and products available. These events may have up to 1000 images They can contain up to 20 sub categories all which may have 30 groups of 4 - 6 images. this is approx and needs to be editable) DISCUSSION POINT: Once the customer logs in we don't want them to be able to see every photo from the event. They need to type their image number into a search option which will then show that images plus, other images that relate to theif photo. This we have labelled a group and will need to be efficiently setup in the admin. We need to be able to use high resolution files for the upload which will effectively sit on our server. These files will be used to create the thumbnails for gallery including a watermark option. Once an order is received by us we receive an email notification plus, the customers selecton is automatically selected from the high resolution files (from our server) and placed into a folder labeled with the customers requested products. Here is an example of this type of system that we currently use. [login to view URL] We are wanting to refine it, customise it and own it. It must be able to integrate into a wordpress site. Functionality is important and needs not to have too many hurdles for customers to buy. If you have knowledge in this area I would like to hear from you. Your experience and suggestions would be appreciated, maybe there's a different way to achieve what we are hoping to again, i welcome any suggestions. If you have some examples please forward me any links available or, if yuo know of any current systems online that might suit our requirements please advise. We are looking for a team to help build this system and continue to refine it and evolve it over time. This will be an ongoing project that will become the centre of our business.
