Creating a Virtual Pop Star - Animation, Video

I'm a Songwriter / Producer, I've written for German Pop Idol, couple projects in Philippines and a big latin singer. I'm trying to think outside the box and do something a bit original to pitch to my industry contacts. I'm looking to create a virtual pop star (Something like the picture attached, or like The Gorillaz, but I'm open to suggestions). I have really commercial novelty pop/dance tracks, that are getting pitched by a few contacts, who have had countless hits. I'm looking to commission a music video, create a brand, and promote to record labels. I realise something like this could take a lot of time, so I'm open to suggestions, partnerships, profit share. There is a couple projects like this in Asia, that are massive.
