Application wrapper with built in http and proxy server

The requirement is to package and ship a small web-app in a binary which provides the following functionality: Product is a Visual studio project which allows client to customise certain aspects before build. Binary wrapper Executable: Needs to contain small web-app code (HTML/CSS/JS) which gets compiled on build to help prevent casual inspection of contained Javascript scripting. On running of executable the binary the user must be presented with an option to either (a) use a built-in proxy (more on that below) or (b) specify a custom proxy to be used. If this is selected, this proxy address needs to be made available to the contained JS in the web-app either inline or as a variable. The proxy is necessary to be able to get around CORS issues and AJAX calls within the App. Then on confirmation/"next click", the executable must create a temporary web-server on a free port and present the location of the contained [login to view URL] file as a path on localhost in a copyable read-only text input. This allows the user to copy the address and paste it into any browser to view the web-app served by the executable's temporary server. Also if the "built-in" proxy was selected, the app needs to create a temporary proxy server to be used. This needs to have a long time-out as some ajax requests can take considerable time to return. As a last measure. Please suggest ways of time-limiting the proper functioning of the executable to before a particular configurable date. I.e. if the product has expired, then do not function. Using a different mechanism to just checking system time. Perhaps interrogating a web-based timing server. Please feel free to ask any questions and mention the word CORS proxy in your applications.
