Hi Please go through my suggestions. 1. VPC ( public and private cloud ) Making site secure and manageable via VPC with ELB. 2. Cloud Front - S3 for CDN All static contents can be delivered via Cloudfront, if its for only one region we can use S3 with http enable to server static content. 3. Elastic cache is available, if we want to integrate some caching at database level. 4. The severs will be based on Linux (Amazon Linux, Redhat or some other flavor). 5. Hi I'm an expert in Amazon web services, and I'm confident to configure your site for low latency, high availability and failover in AWS. Here're the important parts that'll be needed. 1. AWS EC2 in multi-AZ's with autoscaler behind ELB 2. AWS RDS in multi-AZ's with read replicas. 3. AWS Cloudfront to distribute static files from nearest edge locations. 4. AWS S3 to store static files. For configuration management of this overall infrastructure I'll prefer Chef or Puppet. Hi, We are a UK based consultancy specialising in Linux, security, cloud and virtual infrastructure. We have nine years experience of this which involves running our own hosting company and doing these sorts of projects on a regular basis. In short, this is exactly the sort of work we specialise in and have setup a number of magento instances on AWS. We are an official Amazon Web Services Partner Network Consulting Partner and so know all their services very very well. Examples of previous projects we have done: A company that specialised in social platform products were hosting their site on two VMware ESXi servers. These servers were very outdated and had memory as well as storage issues. We helped them migrate to a much simpler setup that included offsite live database replication and cold disaster recovery servers that could be bought online when needed but cost the company nothing while they were turned off. Another company used to create websites but then switched their business to being an SEO consultancy. They had had a huge mess of servers that were completely unmanaged, undocumented and had been touched by many people who had since left their company. We are helping them move the data, sites and tools on 36 servers to 8 servers that will be properly managed going forward. I hope that gives you all the information you need.
