Source Code Partners has an open position for a remote senior C# web developer. One of our clients had their senior developer leave the company and we are looking to replace him. In this position you will represent Source Code Partners but will be working full time for a printing company in the United States. It is assumed that you will work 40 hours a week Monday through Friday. Hours are flexible but you will need to be available in the day to provide support to this company. In this role you will be in charge of managing the company's proprietary e-commerce and business management systems. Our team is in the process of writing new software to replace the old systems but we need to continue to maintain the legacy system and ensure it is up and running. Legacy System Details * ASP.NET Web Forms * Some Flash / Flex 2.0 * HTML / Javascript * MS SQL Servers * Heavy usage of stored procedures New System Details * ASP.NET MVC * Raven DB * Rabbit MQ * MSSQL * HTML / CSS / JAVASCRIPT Due to the nature of this position we require the person to be a native english speaker and work U.S business hours. We have a 1 year contract with this company so this is an opportunity to have good consistent contract work. If you have any knowledge of the printing industry that is a huge plus. We are flexible on the hours and the working days as long as they are consistent so we can conform to your optimal schedule as long as it is reasonable. Dear Brett, This is Janos from Hungary. I'd like to help you on this and am hoping the requirement and your needs may be in line with what I have to offer. Firstly, I'm unable to do the expected 40 hours on a constant basis, rather something between 20-25 max but the work done in that time should average or exceed several people's 40+ hours, once I have picked up on the domain knowledge side. I would be looking to do this as a second job, next to my full time job - TA/dev. lead. I have a vast experience with .net development, SQL and the other areas mentioned in the project description, except for Flash/Flex, but I'm open to familiarizing myself with these to the extent required in order to be able to work efficiently. I am available in US business hours and can provide skype/phone support, development and troubleshooting in US English :-) with no language issues whatsoever. I usually work on Saturdays so am able to do some extra time there as may be required, coding in .net or MSSQL. I'm available almost any time 24/6, with the exception of Sundays.
