We are a young german Startup for virtual reality fair stands and need support for an animated commercial. The commercial should be a pure 360° animated video, but in 3D. It should be in a youtube friendly format, and not exceed 2-3 mins.
A short summary of the storyboard, which is at the moment not close to be completely planned:
The spectator is in the middle of a relatively small fair stand. You can hear typical fair sounds in the background.
A virtual reality glass hovers in front of the spectator and smoothly slides on the spectators eyes. The screen gets black.
The VR World fades in. At first you can see the same fair stand, but it should be highlighted that this fair stand is in VR now (Maybe by mesh rays which are flashing on every object).
After a few seconds the whole environment changes to a wide plane, by overwhelming animations. We thought about an animations style like in the intro of steamVR. (first 30s [login to view URL]).
After everything disappeared, different products start to appear with the same style of animations.
It needs to show that in VR everything is possible! You don't just watch a static product, but you can see it in action.
A car which drift a donut around you, a jet which does a low flyover just in front of you. These things need to be linked with small pieces of information: For example: While the jet is just in front of you, it rapidly slows down an a you can see a wireframe of the jet and just the turbines are highlighted. A small label pops up and shows something like: 50.000hp at 30.000rpm. And just in the next moment the slow-motion stops and the jet rushes away.
In the end there needs to be something big! Something like you'd never expect: We thought about a cruiseship. Which hoots the foghorn. And the camera fades out.
The topic of the commercial should be something like: "Size isn't an excuse!".
Like I wrote before: This is just a first idea, and could change.

About me: i am a biomedical engineer, who is developing vr videos for medical applications, usually work with blender for 3d modeling and unreal engine for cinematograpy, and then to the adobe premiere/after effects for video editing.
