An issue with a validator script

I have a validator script that checks if the letters in a for are in other language than English, if it is a language different than English it will give an alert when clicking the submit button. The script is currently installed on a russian website of mine and it works perfectly, im not trying to copy the code and install it on a Japanese website but im unable to make it work (im not a programer). I will need you to make it work ASAP. If you are a programer it should take up to 10 minutes to fix this.
