Data Gathering From Online Sportsbooks

Basically, I am looking for a program that will spider several specified sportsbooks, and pull live data for all events with moneyline odds (meaning no spread). It would then compile the information into one source, like an XML file, or whatever works best. I am flexible on how the information is compiled, as long as the data can be easily parsed by the software I am having designed. I previously contracted a project entitled "Arbitrage Software Project", which can be found at [login to view URL] The coder that worked on it created a very nice interface that categorized and spliced all the data very well. Unfortunately, he was unable to create code that crawled the various sportsbooks and retrieved odds from each to use in the software. Without this critical component, the software is worthless. I have attempted to find someone to finish the project, but it sems that those who have the expertise to gather the sportsbook data don't know enough about .NET to finish the software, and vice-versa. For now, I am willing to settle for just having the odds-gethering component. Once I have the framework in place to gather the odds data, I will find another coder to finish the original project. There are several sites online that compile and present comparative odds data, including sites like BetBrain at [login to view URL] so I would imagine that it can be done without too much trouble. I am pretty flexible, and am open to any suggestions you may have. If you have any questions, please send me a message. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The program should be able to operate and store data online, on a website running Unix.
