The goal of the project is to convert the WPF audio recorder to Silverlight:

The needed funcionality is exactly the same...
Screens:
-select recording source
-check mic level and record audio
-give visual feedback while recording
-after recording stopped, beeing able to cut both sides of the recorded data
-after recording stopped, beeing able to play the recorded data
-save the wav file to local stream - mp3/lame conversion not needed, just wav.
This sample uses NAudio framework, which is not officially ported to SL, but the required parts are ported in these projects:

The job is putting it altogether and provide the same functionality in Silverlight like the WPF sample.
Since the UI is quite simple, MVVM is not required...
