BPM/WFMC Software

This is one of those ugly projects where one developer started and did not finish his job ! We have to do this in 2 stages. This bid is for the first stage, which is reviewing and testingt the existing code and create a detailed list of what is missing or not working correctly along with a proposal to fix this. In the second stage you will than get the job to fix those things and add the functionality. You will get 2 more jobs later, one is the GUI for the BPM and the second a stand alone project which will be a BPM Designer. Currently we use the free open source JAWE editor to create the processes, export it to XPDL and than import it in our engine. The existing code are about 20.000 lines with 13.000 code the rest comments etc. They are spread across 7 assemblies. For the project we simply followed the WFMC specs but added functionality for Applications and server side execution of the via the scripting host (was the developers choice, I would have use NET compiler namesapce what we most likely will do in the future). You have to have a PROFOUND knowlegde of BPM and especially WFMC ! I have no time to tell you HOW to do the job, I need someone (or a team) who understands BPM and therefor is able to create own ideas on how to implement it. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform C# on Net 1.1
