Customer Retention Management Software

This software application is a relatively simple C.R.M. (Customer Retention Management Software) application written in V.B. 6.0. It collects and stores information about customers and products using an MS Access database. The software must have the option to network on a pc network; it must be able to give two different levels of access rights to employees (salespeople and management) and, allow one or more users to enter, modify or save data simultaneously. It will manage in real-time and simultaneous display on monitors (800 x 600 & 1024 x 768): 1. Salespersons appointments 2. Salespersons phone calls 3. Automatically create and manage a daily “to do?? list for salespeople to follow 4. Manage Customer information; personal, product and historical data 5. Simultaneously display on a managers screen all salespeople’s activities 6. Intra Company messaging within a closed on-site pc network 7. Simple email function (integrated w/ Microsoft Outlook Express as example) that notifies receipt of an email on screen within program 8. Create a custom or generic letter; store it, print & customize a mail merge from database info 9. Create, store and print custom reports based on customer historical data in the database and tables 10. The ability to communicate monthly with a bulletin board (to be created) for product updates The software must have the flexibility to import data from other database applications such as SQL Server, Oracle, and Db2 to name a few. The software is currently in development. About 10-15% of the code and 90% of the forms are completed. Screen design and layout with graphics is 90% completed. Also, the Access database is almost completed. It currently has 10 tables. We have a relatively firm idea about how the application should work, but we welcome any ideas in improving what we currently have designed. We need someone to complete this project within a ninety-day timetable. Additionally, winning bidder should understand this will be an evolving program with additional program enhancements required from time to time and be willing to work with us in completing any enhancements in a timely manner (at a fee mutually agreed upon in advance). _Please note, the intent of this program is to sell it to my clients!_ ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional debugged working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done, with notes and comments. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Platforms: Win 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP Interested bidders will be provided a full description of the product, visual presentation (screen shots), etc. after signing our standard Confidentiality Non-Disclosure agreements and verification of a minimum of five references.
