Convert PHP script to VB.NET (1872181)

Hi, I need this PHP-based name parser converted to VB.NET. The routine should execute in such a way that the full-name is passed and the constituent parts are assigned to global variables. Please include sufficient test examples to demonstrate program effectiveness. The PHP routine is contained in the text file attached. Note that this is not a PHP file but only contains the affected functions. Thanks.
