The solaris bash script named "processlogs" will 1) make ftp connction to ftp server, and cd to /logs dir 2) download previous days zipped log file, with an example filename of [login to view URL] 3) gzip -d each log file "one-by-one" because disk space is an issue. After you decompress it you will do a simple: grep "blah blah" [login to view URL] > [login to view URL] 4) rm [login to view URL] 5) continue step 3 & 4 until finished the script should be able to take optional argument of the filename (this will override the part where it looks for the previous day). For example, the script can be run as 'processlogs "[login to view URL]"' MUST BE TESTED PROGRAMMED ON SOLARIS!!! NOT LINUX!!!
