For those who do not know what asterisk is, its a virtual PBX system (IE: VOIP telephone system)
We already have this in place on one of our servers, what we are looking for is a perl script to take an email and simply put it in a file (see sample file below) and then copy that file to the asterisk outgoing folder.
Our goal is this: Send an email (IE: from cell phone) with 3 numbers. The numbers can be put in the body (or subject, i need to confirm)
1. Our Number (Cell Phone)
2. The Caller ID Number (What we want shown on Caller ID)
3. The Number we are calling
4. We can easily forward the email address we want to the script with exim, so just script needs to be created
15105555555 8664561321 9056954532
As you can see the only number that has a 1 is the first number
Below is a sample of the file called [login to view URL] and the numbers above will coropond where they need to go in the file
Channel: IAX2/login:pass atsign [login to view URL]
Callerid: 8664561321
MaxRetries: 5
RetryTime: 60
WaitTime: 30
Context: spoofing
Extension: 9056954532
Priority: 1
Then once file is created, simply copy it to /var/spool/asterisk/outgoing/
