Trying to import a database for a WordPress website and keep getting the following error. "-- Database: `db_databasename` -- CREATE DATABASE IF NOT EXISTS `db_databasename` DEFAULT CHARACTER SET latin1 COLLATE latin1_swedish_ci; MySQL said: Documentation #1044 - Access denied for user 'car'@'localhost' to database 'db_databasename' As part of this job, I will require an in depth explanation on how to solve this problem should it happen in the future and how it will take to complete the job. Thanks.

Hello, I'm a Network and System Administrator. I think user "car" is not allowed to do modification to the mentioned database, it doesn't have the privileges. You need to make the username to be able to access the database.

Wish to ask, whether the mysql user you are using was created by you using cpanel or any such hosting facility? - Either it has been not assigned to the given db - Or it has not been given sufficient privileges If you wish to assign me this project, first you need to tell me what hosting you are using and whether it has cpanel or shell access? It will be easy to fix it. Must be 2-3 hrs work max.
