Hi, I need a script to transfer records from a .txt files to MySQL database, and then output into XML. 1) The .txt files are delimited by tab, with one record per line- but unfortunately some of the records are not very good. I would need the script to ignore records that do not have entries in two of the three tabs, or where some of the information does not meet sufficient standard. I have provided examples of both an unededited file, and and the kind of records that I would like to get out of that file - both in .txt format. 2) I would need each record to derive data for the fields from both the filename, and the delimited data within the file. This data would need to populate a mysql table. 3) This data would then need to be output into an .xml format. I can provide previous examples of how this should work with .php file scripts for steps 2 + 3. However, I would like these scripts tidied up and/or rewritten as they are not very good. Please late me know any questions. Ideally I would have script by sunday evening UK Time. Or early monday morning.

Hello! I have made something similiar before. Do you have DB structure for thois records, or should i create it? Also, can you tell in more details about XML generation (i.e. should script take all DB records in the XML or should it take soome parts based on user input? )
