Hi, I am looking for an able programmer who can design a simple scalable quoting system. here is how we want it: People come our website to ask for quotes. they enter the job they want and their address. we will search our index and find 3 nearest companies that can help them. the companies will get a simple massege on their screen in real-time and declare a price for that job. The price will show on the website in realtime and the customer has a choice to confirm it. both visitors and companies that work with us should have a login option so they dont have to enter the same details again and again. Please advice if java is a good way to go on about this, how long will it take, how much...? Thanks

Hi there. I'm looking to expand on my portfolio and resume, and would love the chance to work with you on this project. I believe we can accomplish your working program through a mix of a Java application that can talk to PHP, and the PHP script that can talk to the Java application itself. .back and forth, back and forth. I have experience designing applications that make real-time calls to server-side scripts and repeating the process back again and believe I could apply that experience to your site.
