I need a set of Java command-line methods to implement the Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) specified in the attached document. All tables are treated independently (i.e., no joins, views, etc.) For each table, we need insert(add), update (modify), delete, and sometimes launch as specified. Because tables are independent, there is no need of transactions.
The database used is Hypersonic (HSQLDB) 1.8.0.1.
All functions return int RC, where RC=0: Success, RC=non-zero: function-specific failure code
Do not use common global variables (e.g, classpath, JAVA_HOME, others) to avoid collisions with other applications. To avoid common global variables, you may use hard-coded paths with Strings that may be substituted during distibution or installation.
