CBR for a helpdesk

i need to create a case based reasoning (CBR) prototype/application for my university helpdesk. it doesnt have to be too fancy, its basically a knowledge based system, where the user can type in a problem and the search should bring back some results with appropriate solutions. the solutions should be in a database i.e. mysql. the front end should be web based interface where the user can input a search of a problem i.e. printer is printing black lines. and then the results should bring up something like check ink cartidge to see if ink has not ran out, or something along those lines. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4) needs to be a web based interface. 5) have a login screen 6) linked to mysql database i.e. the cases or solutions will be in the database where they will be retrieved once a search is input through the web interface. 7) so need to be done in html and php and mysql 8) the solutions should be in a database i.e. mysql. the front end should be web based interface where the user can input a search of a problem i.e. printer is printing black lines. and then the results should bring up something like check ink cartidge to see if ink has not ran out, or something along those lines. 9) should also have an option to let the user add cases/solutions to the database via the interface. 10) have a drop down menu with headings like printer, software, hardware, so that the user can select the right heading for the corresponding problem, i.e. like above with the printer problem the user would select the printer heading from the drop down menu and this should be linked to a printer database which will have some solutions in it and same applies to all the other headings. ## Platform windows xp all internet explorer, netscape and mozilla browsers
