Combine direct listings with external datafeed

Hi Freelancers, We are in a process of making a listing website and need someone with a solid understanding of PHP to assist to combine listings that will be created directly in our website (we call them ‘Direct Listings’) with listings coming from another website in the form of data feed. All the listings (the direct and data feed) have to be combined and appear on the main page and the view listing page. Also, when users search to find listings, the relevant results from both sources must appear on the search pages. Pls note, we already have done the search function for direct listings but the system has to be integrated with the external datafeed so some tweak to our current system might be necessary. I will provide the winner a test page that shows how to process the results of the data coming from external website as xml datafeed. There are comments in the test page explaining some of the detail. Also our website source code files will be provided. The winner of this project must have a good understanding of Ajax, and wordpress. Also time management and attention to details are the attributes I will be seeking for this bidder. You may need work with another developer who has done our website so throughout the project team work and communication skills are essential. Having done the similar work would be highly regarded.
