Develop proposal to convert existing web site to osCommerce

This bid is for "phase 1" of a POTENTIAL web site redesign/conversion to osCommerce. BACKGROUND: We are working with a potential client (company "A") who would like to convert their existing web site to a better eCommerce platform. We will host the site using osCommerce. The site is an affiliate of another company (company "B") who's site we host with oscommerce. Some of company "B"s products will be included on company "A"s. TASK FOR THIS BID: This bid is to develop a PROPOSAL for the redesign/conversion of this existing web site. Your bid is to demonstrate your ability to quickly and efficiently build an osCommerce site with simplistic, yet useable design to ensure a good "shopping experience". We are not requesting a significant graphic design process. The existing site uses paypal and [login to view URL] for payments, which will both need to be integrated with the osCommerce site. Your initial communication in response to this bid request does not need to include a bid amount, but will need to include enough information for me to do an initial evaluation of serious and capable bidders. To those, I will release the URL of the existing site (company "A") and the affiliate site (company "B") for your further review. Your final bid response should include an amount to **develop a detailed proposal** for the design/development of the new site. The deliverable of this project will include the detailed proposal and FIRM cost for redesign/implementation and initial support for the customer. We will recommend potential design mockup be provided within the deliverable. AWARD CRITERIA: Your bid response will need to convince me of the following: 1) Your understanding of this bid request. 2) Your ability to implement a simple osCommerce site efficiently and aesthetically. 3) Your ability to communicate with me (and potentially my client) clearly and effectively. 4) Cost. ## Deliverables 1) A proposal to potentially convert the existing web site to osCommerce, integrate existing products, and selected products from the affilate, and provide initial support for the site.
